Solenoid engine. Prototype developed at the National University of Colombia

Figures 1. Render Solenoid Engine

The solenoid coil electric motor is one of the feasible alternative primary motors to replace existing electric motors. This particular main motor design has some advantages over common electric motor designs due to its strength and control, as its operation is based on the mechanical principles of a combustion engine and uses electromagnetic force to generate linear motion in the pistons. However, the development of this is still in its initial phase, that is, its efficiency is not the most optimal and future studies and improvements are required to further hone the wide potential of this engine. In addition, an electric generator whose physical operation is modeled by Faraday Lenz's law is used as a starting system to take advantage of the engine's energy.

Some videos of the Device

The development of this stage was carried out together with Companion Nagoth Gomez Arteaga * and the National University of Colombia in Medellín financed this project through a course called 'Taller III' (Electromagnetic Circuits and Devices).
